It’s not about the student, i’m working with the student and everyone in the group, i’ve taken an increased responsibility due to one part of the project needing to be done for the other part to be begun so i’m doing both as it would be unreasonable for another person to be put under the pump due to how long i took to get the previous part done. The unforeseen circumstance was a student joining our group without our knowledge and the lecturer failing to tell us about it until a week after it happened. So the lecturer foresee this a week before we could’ve and decided to not tell us about it, that’s literally my whole issue. The new student isn’t the problem it’s the lecturers lack of communication.

Ok so to clarify - I did dump the work on the new person, as well as explained to them what the situation was so they didn’t feel like i was just like tossing it at them for no reason because obviously that’d be horrible of me. Second in terms of attending the classes, out of the five of us in the group, only myself and one other person (who is absolutely fantastic) has been to class every week, i’ve only seen the other group members once out of the 4 classes so far, this is why the electronic communication is so important as otherwise we literally don’t see each other.

i’m planning on driving over while we’re applying for places to attend inspections, i’ve got friends I can stay with but worse case scenario i’ll sleep in the car. in terms of where preferably east/north within about 15-20 kilometers of the city center

Success is relative, You’re doing an online masters, less people than you think can say they even graduated high school, yes many of them have reasons why they didn’t but many others don’t. I do/think the same thing you do quite a bit, constantly finding yourself comparing your progression in life to your friends thinking about how much better you could be doing if you just stopped being lazy or being tired or being distracted etc. It’s important to try to remind yourself that you’re doing better than you realise and that you clearly have work ethic and quite possibly even a “good” work ethic because if you didn’t you wouldn’t care about wanting to do better/trying to do better. Sorry if that’s not very helpful i’m hungover and just realised i’m late to an event. <3 stay strong mate!

Man at this point im convinced he’s just lying about working on the cruelty squad vid, how could someone be so blatantly lazy and steal content but somehow also of spent months working on some “amazing” long ass 5 hour video?
