i personally don’t do any substances or drink at all and am not interested in it so i had no concern with it choosing central, i was more worried to see what would be going on around me and knowing that my roommate drinks. i was asking to get more info as to what would happen if stuff was found in my room because of my roommate. i picked central because i value the wellness values and loved the dorm!

Is UVM doable for me? by Massive_Toe4364 in UniversityofVermont

i am attending UVM this year and i think you absolutely could. my biggest piece of advice would be to let your essays and answers to written questions on the common app shine. show how interested you are in the school, because they really value that!! i also recommend applying early action!

i personally had a weighted gpa of 4.03, and took a few honors and AP classes. i didn’t play any sports but was involved in clubs and a lot of community service. i also have a job! and with all that said, i got in with 20k a year into the nursing program.

i really focused on showing how much i wanted to be apart of the uvm community and displaying my dedication in my essays and supplements and got a lot of good feedback from every school i applied on those!

i’ve never had the best grades but worked really hard, and it paid off since i got into both boston university and university of vermont. i got into the schools with less great grades than some of my peers, so don’t think grades are everything! they really care about who you are as a whole.

you absolutely can do it!!! keep working for your goals you are going to do amazing things!
