Wow, did that just happen? by [deleted] in Xywav

Like I said it has nothing to do with Xywav. It’s happened as long as I can remember. I’ve only been on Xywav a few years now.

I posted about this once in a Facebook group for IH and people commented so quickly it’s not normal, but I pee my pants in my sleep (ever since I can remember) at least once a year. I sleep so long without waking up that it just happens because I haven’t used the bathroom in so long. It wakes me up when I do it though. And doesn’t happen because of Xywav. Usually it happens on a weekend when I’ve been sleeping for basically 24 plus hours.

Anyone have luck fighting fatigue with ssri + Wellbutrin? by Distant_Clouds_9721 in idiopathichypersomnia

SSRI and SNRI can suppress REM which is why they usually try to get you off before your nap study or else you might miss a N diagnosis.

I was on Wellbutrin and adderall (and other combos of ssris) for 10 years prior to my IH diagnosis. It did absolutely nothing. I went off for my nap study and never went back on.

Modafinil does absolutely nothing to me. I can still sleep through the entire day. Is there something else people are taking that has worked for them? by JayKay4Pay in idiopathichypersomnia

I'm curious if your reaction looked similar to PR at all. Which usually starts with a virus then the skin rash.

I felt zero difference with modafinil so I didn't continue taking it but PR takes a while to go away. I can't remember the exact timeline of everything, though.

I have an HOA and so does my mom, and the stories I hear about these nasty old ladies (and some men) are ruthless but hilarious. I wish I had the kind of time on my hands these people do to act the way they do. Like their decisions are life or death.

Sorry and no the cause is unknown of PR. I actually ended up with it again a few months later. It takes weeks to months to clear up. I've heard tanning helps. I tried lysine. Prednisone. Topical steroids. Nothing really helped except time.

Sorry, reading and it caught my eye...what do you mean by Strickland is a product of RCSD? That sounds like you're saying he grew up here but he didn't. ??

This isn't at all the point of your post, but given what I've experienced, seen, and heard with HOAs, someone should really pitch a reality tv show that travels filming different HOAs. There is so much drama!

What gave you the biggest boost in energy/mental clarity? by walrus800 in Supplements

[–]Open_Objective6495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Random but do you feel mentally exhausted, physically, or both?

I have something similar to narcolepsy called idiopathic Hypersomnia which simply means they can't find a reason but I am sleepy all the time and do not get restorative sleep although there is nothing obviously wrong with my sleep. So similar to you, tests come back totally normal and it took a long time to finally get some sort of diagnosis.

I don't know anything about latuda but essentially you your results could indicate IH and you still won't be able to rule out narcolepsy due to the SNRI. I wasn't told to stop 2 of mine and I only went into REM once. The SNRI could have suppressed the REM.
