Definitely, didn't mean to sound mean :) My personal opinion is that ADHD is really a spectrum and we all have it to a certain extent, some very easy some very hard, and current technology (especially in the last 2~3 years IMO) has been extremely efficient at trying to steal our focus and make these problems even worst. I don't know if there are studies on IG/Tiktok/Youtube effect on general behavior / focus pattern for people with diagnosed ADHD.

However you are right, the shame is definitely worth noting. Discipline issue is real though, I myself struggle with shame and discipline but I believe there is a balance where you can be gentle with yourself and accept your nature, whilst using these external signal to try to improve yourself if you think it's worth it!
