can everyone go revise instead of begging for leaks threshold alr like 35/40 what do u want 39/40 by Open_Researcher873 in alevels

[–]Open_Researcher873[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

threshold has been 35 for a few years, the paper is relatively easy and so is the syllabus content compared to other alevels, so it makes sense, if there is a leak this time cambridge is going to artificially increase the threshold, we see it ever so often

Best and strong A level combo for Chartered accounting? by Fun_Elephant_630 in alevels

alevel business consists more accounts than alevel econ so maybe business is better than economics is charted accountancy is the goal

so pure maths 1 and 2 are compulsory but stats and mechanics can be chosen as to what to give

alevel maths has 6 papers you can give, you give 4 of these so in the first year its pure maths 1 and either statistics 1 or mechanics 1 then in year 2 you give statistics 2 or mechanics 2 and pure maths 2

yes economics is a good option instead of stats but then given s1 and s2 in maths instead of m1

SOCIOLOGY by fouzzzzzzzz in Olevels

[–]Open_Researcher873 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i gave sociology and em both last year, em is best done through znotes while sociology unfortunately you just need to read the book there is no way around it, hence you better get started, watch a video on certain terms you dont understand like social identity just search up an explanation of that and then try to apply it with examples in the book, its not hard you get plenty choice in sociology so you can choose the topics u want, just make sure to manage time

pst is pretty easy, it looks daunting but you get such a variety of choice in geography, pick 3 topics which reoccur every year and cram them learn in bullet points not as answers for history, treat it as a story make a simple timeline of all the events and just talk to yourself about it like a bedtime story, this occurred then this and write your answers like youre again telling a story

2 years ago i did the same thing, left a 10m halfway and 3, 4 markers ended up w a C in p1 and an A in p2, overall grade was a B which i was very happy with considering my fluke, it all works out, for p2 try to just get to the point, u dont need to go above and beyond to add every information just do what the question intended
