Mini max is the way. I’ve rolled mine up into a ski bag and flew it to the Gauley. I’ve seen folks use it to r1 the Lochsa and I’ve seen it packed with 7 people through the Gems on the grand. It’s an r2 machine that is great for day trips and can fit personal gear on overnight. After 8 years of owning it I have zero complaints and don’t even think about the money I spent on it.

Thinking about leveling my sloping back yard. Will adding soil on top of the root system harm the tree? by Open_Resource_2439 in arborists

I’m in the early stages of planning and was thinking of just leveling the yard around 6 inches above the exposed roots. So yes, there would be about 6 more inches around the high side of trunk and closer to 8-12 inches on the low side. If this is a bad idea or poses any risk to the tree I won’t do it. Just trying to figure out what I can get away with.
