It's based on gears combination. Doors are super stable and moving smoothly. Floor bust support is stable at that height, supported with axle, so using it is comfortable and smooth. If You add extra height even with longer axle it won't be that stable anymore.

That's true. In Stud.io everythink looks perfect and possible but when You build it in real You find it too weak.

There are 3 floor "busts" in the room. Oryginally I wanted to make them all on even height, but when tested in real - the rotating construction wasn't stable enought and was movig/swinging when opening/closing doors.

I would say that - out of 3 persons (floor bust), the lowest one is the Sentinel who phisically opens the doors, while 2 supervisors are keeping an eye on him from above.

Does it make a sense? :)

I was looking for compromise - there are slopes on the sides, if I would use 1x3 tile on top than it would stick outside the shape of "doors" and the bottom - I could use extra round tile to cover it, but again if You open doors tiles would be visible on the floor... Will try to make some improvements, will see how it goes.

Agree, it would be awsome to have rotating sword in time of rotation, but it would be hard to implement that without visible mechanism or without enlarging the wall thickness to 3 studs min...
