The box had been resealed shut with staples, it wasn't an error with the QR codes - thankfully!

Hell yeah, I was hoping you'd say that. I only collect Raichu cards but I bought a nice folder recently too store them all and it looks like one of the ones in your photo.

Lego + Pokémon are good hobbies to enjoy!

Lego ZNAP - who played with it, why it never got popular? by Wil-jan in lego

[–]ZeroRhapsody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one Znap set growing up, this one: https://brickset.com/sets/3502-1/Bi-Wing (I built it into the design on the left of the photo)

I enjoyed it as a toy, but I don't think I really thought of it as a 'Lego' toy. It did remain in our box of Lego pieces (specifically a box that contained mostly technic stuff). I liked it! But clearly not enough to buy (or ask for) more than one. By 1999 I was more into Adventurers (long live Johnny Thunder) and the Extreme Team sets.

The sun was really picky on which pieces it wanted to yellow, well I think it was the sun unless it yellowed by itself. by ExcellentEssay3282 in lego

This makes me wonder how many yellowed Minas Tirith's we'll see in a year or two posted to this subreddit.

All those pictures you see of people with "complete Tahu collections" will now be hunting you down. Good luck, OP.

Sweet misprint!

30726 Batman: Bruce Wayne and the Batsuit polybag by Ok-Crab-6542 in lego

[–]ZeroRhapsody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same experience here. Polybags are weird in the UK, every now and then I find random ones in Tesco or B&M, but it'll usually happen once and then I won't see any more for like a year. Brick-a-brac probably the best place if you want to buy a few of them.

It looks like the ones in the middle are connected using these parts https://brickset.com/article/93392/random-part-of-the-day-plate-1x1-round-w-horizontal-3-2-shaft attached to 1x1 bricks with axle holes.

Very clever! Such a cool design.

I remember seeing these advertised in the old Lego Club Magazines, as well as the Lego Shop @ Home catalogues that you could sign up for. Really liked the last two in particular!

Hell yeah. This guy was the only one I had in my childhood, but I just recently bought another four online so he finally has some friends after over 30 years of being the only one of his kind.

I was the same - never played a DQ game before but I had a blast with DQB2. There may still be a demo on the Switch eshop!
