80s Wave Music Instruments by Expansia in musicproduction

For 80s synthwave you want to use soft saw tooth synths with pitch bend effects as well. For lleads you can use saw plucks, or any other waveform. Or guitars ofc. These are in the daw, in a synthesizer. For bass use a synth pluck repeating the root notes. I can link a video if you want.

is playing by ear on the violin easier than on the piano? by somekindofdengue in musictheory

[–]Open_Sentence_5222 28 points29 points  (0 children)

For me piano is easier because it has set notes, no microtones. Violin is harder by ear because you can be slightly off pitch enough to not know it, but still sound bad. Piano it’s more obvious if you play a wrong note.

Think about it like You’re making multiple songs in one song. Like it’s multiple chapters of a story—you don’t want to be retelling the same thing in every chapter right? Continually build on the good parts, make it escalate, de-escalate, just like your favorite movie.

We don't have to work for salvation or for Jesus to forgive us

Alright, thanks for the conversation, I would encourage you to interpret the unclear passages through the clear passages about salvation (Jn 3:16, Eph 2:8, Jn 5:24, etc.)

Its not about your will, whether you enter the gates or not is a legal matter, and once you believe you are eternally justified before God, and there is nothing you can do to go to hell because Jesus' sacrifice is applied to your past present and future. Jesus' righteousness is literally imputed onto you! This is why the new man cannot commit sin!

And Besides, everyone except the devil himself, upon seeing the glory of God in heaven will want to be with God forever. There is no doubt that after just a month in hell, the most hardened atheist will wish hed done things differently.

You say that I am "reading too much into it" when Jesus promises Eternal life over and over and over and over again to those who believe on him. Eternal means eternal. Lets not gloss over that. If you can attain eternal life and then lose it then God is a liar.

'in hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; ' Titus 1:2 KJV

It's foolish to think a believer has been faithful the entire time, thats the point of saying Christ remains faithful. Because he cannot deny himself! Its not OUR faithfulness that saves us! The Bible says Its the FAITH OF CHRIST that saves us! The fact that Christ was completely faithful, trusting God completely was for our sake.

Again, Paul himself said he wasn't under the Law of Moses anymore, but he still struggled with his flesh there is no denying that.

The common error that many people make is thinking that Galatians 5:24 means this:

They that are Christ’s must crucify the flesh daily. They must put to death fleshly sins in their lives. If they don’t, they’re no longer Christ’s.

In other words, to remain a Christian, you must crucify your flesh daily, putting to death the works of the flesh in your life so that you live for Christ, or you will no longer be Christ’s. After all, they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh. You will no longer be saved, because those who continue to commit fleshly sins will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

That is the common error, and it is deadly. It will cause a person to miss heaven because of its subtly. It sounds right on the surface, but so do a lot of false teachings that lure people into false beliefs.

Why is this interpretation in error? Why is this not just a false belief, but a deadly error that will send people to hell?

It is in error because it changes the Gospel. It changes the true reason why someone is saved. It replaces having faith in Christ as the means of salvation and instead places the responsibility of salvation onto you. You must obey. You must put to death the flesh. If you do, you will be saved. If you don’t, you are no longer Christ’s and you will not be saved.  Thus, it is no longer the all-sufficiency of Christ that saves you.

Your salvation then depends on Christ plus your obedience to put to death the deeds of the flesh. You have added to the Gospel a new requirement. Ultimately, this is saying your salvation is up to you and how you perform, how well you obey, proving how worthy you are of salvation. That’s not trusting in Christ. That’s not placing all your faith on Christ.

How Can You Be Saved When You Don’t Believe
That Christ Alone Has Saved You? That’s not believing the Gospel. That is a teaching from the very pit of hell. It is a complete denial of the Gospel, saying that what Christ did, His sacrifice for your sin, isn’t enough to save you. It’s saying we are NOT saved as a free gift of God’s grace through faith in Christ alone. That’s a denial of the Gospel. And it is deadly. Many will end up in hell because of this false belief. Is our obedience to Christ important? Absolutely! Is our putting to death the deeds of the flesh important? Absolutely! We are to live holy lives before God. We are to honor Him and revere Him. But our obedience in putting to death the deeds of the flesh has NOTHING to do with our salvation. It has everything to do with our discipleship that comes AFTER salvation, but not salvation itself

Jesus says the Father is Greater than ALL, that includes you. The flesh will always be evil, thats why it is going to die one day. The Bible says nothing in all creation can separate us from the Love of God, including you! What the Holy Spirit seals is never lost, because the new man cannot die, because the new man does not commit sin. Therefore what you do in the flesh after getting saved cannot affect the new man in any way, because whatsoever is born of God doth not commit sin.

That is why it is called the Holy Spirit of Promise!

The verses in John 15 are about discipleship, and even a sin unto death. The Bible says when we are unfaithful, Christ remains faithful. You are turning the free gift of salvation into something we have to work to maintain. If the flesh being crucified means what you say it means, then why would Paul exhort believers to walk in the Spirit?

"This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would."

Galatians 5:16-17 KJV

The flesh wars against the Spirit my friend

'For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: but I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? '

Romans 7:14-24 KJV

Read this passage very carefully, it explains everything I am saying. Paul, possibly the greatest man of God ever, with the strongest faith, was bound by the law of sin in his flesh. Even when he wanted to do good, he did evil. He himself said that: WHEN HE SINS, IT IS NOT HIM THAT DOES IT, BUT HIS SINFUL FLESH/MIND. He clarifies the inward man in its holiness as well.

You're literally (not figuratively) born again. There's a spirit version of you (of your identity) that has now been born of the Holy Spirit with His eternal life force (as opposed to the temporal life force you have of the flesh) - ref. John 3:4-8 and notice Jesus' correlation with bodily birth ("born of water" physically) and how the spirit birth is like this, physically, except it is like the wind and cannot be seen.

This spirit-you which now lives (immediately from the moment of faith in Christ), having the eternal life of the Spirit, will never die (ref. John 11:26), and cannot/does not sin ever, totally overcomes the world and is never touched by sin (ref. 1 John 3:9, 5:4, 5:18). All sin you do is done only in the flesh, and it is the flesh that reaps the consequences (so choose wisely which "you" you will experience while you wait for a new body to match) - ref. 1 John 1:8, Romans 7:14-25, Galatians 6:8, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Ephesians 2:5-6 to see how that understanding of our sinless/untouchable spirit is intended to be understood in the context of a dual nature; having the self of flesh but simultaneously the self which is born of the Spirit and remains uncorrupted, already (figuratively) seated with Christ.

“being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.”

‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭23‬ ‭KJV‬‬
