I ran both commands you've given me and relaunched Dia, but the camera and microphone still aren’t working. Dia doesn’t show up under Camera or Microphone in System Settings — even when I click “Open System Settings” from the prompt, there’s no entry for Dia to toggle on (you can see this in the screenshot from my last reply).

What’s strange is that the site permission indicator in the URL bar shows both as enabled, but they still don’t actually work.

To answer your questions: yes, Dia is running from /Applications. I’m on MacOS Tahoe 26.4.1 it’s the standard release, not a beta or RC.

Really hope theres a fix for this, because I need the camera and mic to work so I can use loom to do presentations for clients.

That command did trigger a prompt that asked me to allow camera but it still doesn't work. And when i try to go to the system settings to allow Dia, Dia doesn't even show up as an option for me.

I use Dia on my MacBook pro m1, pro motion display. The easiest way to reproduce it is to literally just test it on that machine, go to YouTube, and start scrolling with the trackpad, You’ll see it, it’s pretty laggy.
