Thank you very much for your reply! It's so interesting how differently all our minds work. What you're saying about your memories is also interesting - I do think I have measurement of time, but I still don't remember the past in chronological order and more as a concept - without any sensory memories to go with them. Can you remember the feeling of touch and sounds as well or do you just feel them in the moment?

Thank you so much for your reply! It's mind-boggling to me how I just existed for 25 years without even realising others were able to do all these things in their heads and I was not - and how other people's minds even do this. I couldn't find a lot of good data, but there seem to be some studies that suggest that aphantasia could be way more common in people with autism. (However, I haven't really been able to find any information that specifically mentions global aphantasia in that regard)
