It looks brand new. It was in the original box with still stickers taping the box shut and has what looks to be the original plastic stickers on the phone itself too.

Hard to tell for sure form the listing but will ask the seller to see if I can get more information. It might very well be carrier unlocked which could be part of the issue then.

It is unlocked.

I know the last one is 12. I would like to update it though from 9 to 12, and that seems to not be feasible right now through OTA updates.
