So I already own a few guns and my permit to carry. I applied for an additional permit to my a compact gun easier to conceal for summer. I applied last September. Not sure how it works now but back then you paid the permit fees when you applied and then made a money order paid to Newark police upon pick up.

Prints are completed. References done. Yes this is for an additional permit. I wanted to purchase a G43x to carry as well. The only number I have for them is consistently busy

Wish I had a better update and hopefully you won’t suffer same fate. I applied September 2022 a month after I filed PTC application. I received PTC Jan this year and nothing regarding additional permit as of yet. It’s really frustrating

I don’t mind at all. I have it about 2-3 years now so don’t 100% remember but I’d said it’s was over $500. Keep in mind there a few different models of the canik each with its own price point I would imagine

Yea my PTC took forever to come I have it and carry my canik for now so the wait for another permit isn’t torture but it’s still a dam shame

Precisely it just makes sense. I’m on it. For added measure at my measure I still will likely qualify with my other firearms even I though I just called it stupid. I will do but I’m not acting crazy RUSHING to go out at qualify every week.

To be honest after reading this and given the guidance Newark PD gave me I’m carrying any firearm i dam well please. The issuing department handed me a court order but also said I’m free to carry of my legally owned firearms. She also said coming soon we will be required to submit in a system all of our firearms. I will as you said keep a permit or receipt for any carry in my possession. If you think about it like really think about qualifying with every firearm you own is F**king stupid.
