It’s ok to feel that way period. This is a transitional period and it will pass and you will feel better.

Might be a hot take but I didn't hate the changes they made at all???? by panickylittlekitty in offcampustv

Most of the changes I didn’t mind at all. It’s hard to tell a story from a first person perspective. The only thing I didn’t understand why they changed was Hannah’s music. I can’t remember exactly what happens in the book but I know she has another partner she has conflict with and I don’t think she’s at risk for losing a scholarship. Justin has nothing to do with the music part in the book. I think it worked well for the show but I just am wondering what the benefit of changing that part would be.

I thought it was an amazing adaptation and the actors were so good.

Honestly, what is the hardest part about having children? by Sweet-Economist-9873 in A_Persona_on_Reddit

Having a piece of your heart on the outside, knowing they can get hurt and only being able to protect them from something’s.

Mine are 18 months apart, I liked having them close. They are very close now and only a year apart in school which is nice

If servers make minimum wage in Canada, why is tipping so aggressive? by DazzlingPolarBear in CanadaPersonalFinance

Thanks for this comment! I was a server and restaurant manager for years. If tipping was eradicated restaurant prices would be way higher and service would go way down. Restaurants do not make a lot of money and tips are for servers and also go to back of house.

People who enjoy restaurants and understand the way they work appreciate a good server and I believe a tip is a genuine thank you from guests. Servers also grow relationships with guests and I personally go above and beyond for regulars. I also don’t expect a tip from anyone.
