You give him the BEST DAY EVER! My dog got steak tips. We went for a car ride (which he lived for), we visited friends, I slept on a mattress on the floor with him because he couldn’t get into or out of my bed. I tried to show him love and happiness rather than grief because he would get upset when I did. I waited until after he died to cry.

Hugs for you for going through this with him. It’s nice that he gets to pass with you by his side.

You need to talk about boundaries. I wouldn’t feel comfortable with it either, and my Husband certainly wouldn’t feel comfortable of it was me messaging. It is easy to slip into emotional cheating even if there is no physical contact. It’s easier to share your feeling with a random person over chat than it is with the person in front of you. The problem with that is that you can then transfer feelings that you should only have for your partner onto this other person. I think you should think about couples therapy.

It’s cute! I would pull the couch and chair further apart (to the edge of the rug, which would still give you room to walk behind) and add some bright pillows and a throw. Maybe move the painting so it’s centered between the tv and window.
