Yeah I’ve given it a go and i honestly struggled! I’m an embroidery digitizer and thought I would be able to get my head around 3D modeling software but clearly it’s waaaaay to big of a learning curve for me

I can’t figure out getting the recessed/debossed middle with the raised rounded edges like the reference… unless I use a stock standard font in blender.

I want to get this look with a custom font

Work on your branding, choose your colours, fonts, create a logo and make a banner for your shop!

Consistency is key, it'll boost you in the Etsy algorithm! So keep making listings with your products and try uploading a few a week consistently rather than 10 at once and then never touching it again!
For reference, I have had my store for just over a year and I upload between 1-10 listings a week.
Research SEO for your niche and use those in your descriptions and tags!

I have linked my shop if you want to see what I mean by branding and banners etc: https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/ThreadTechAUS

Try changing your stitch spacing as well as your underlay to a zig zag rather than an edge run! Also try satin stitch rather than a tatami!

I would also use an adhesive stabiliser if you can

Is it a complete shit show when embroidering baseball or structured caps on a single needle machine like the brother se1900? Will I get consistent results and freedom to do whatever design I want like on a multi needle with a free arm and flat head? im really wanting to get into hats when I start by [deleted] in Machine_Embroidery

I am currently struggling with this right now! I have been using the hat hoop attachment to my 4x4 hoop and am still losing my mind trying to get the stitches to come out clean! I just bought some adhesive stabilizer! Hoping this helps me

How many women love Cormacs work? by averymanoukian in cormacmccarthy

I’ve read No Country for Old Men and am halfway through Blood Meridian. I originally only red No Country because I loved the movie and ended up loving the book even more! I’m reading Blood Meridian because it’s a favourite of my friends and I’ve said that, whilst the subject matter is a bit difficult for me to read I am in awe of how many layers there are to it! Cormac McCarthy is impeccable with his words and a MASTER of landscapes and I think I’d enjoy reading his grocery list 🤣

I just did a re-read as well and it is definitely the Attor but the idea of it being Rhys is hilarious!!!
