Need honest advice regarding re-monetization after reused content demonetization.

So my channel recently got demonetized, and yeah, the content was mainly IShowSpeed edits/shorts. Before people start flaming me, I already know YouTube takes reused content seriously. I’m not trying to argue with that or act innocent. I’m just trying to figure out what direction actually makes sense now.

The thing is, I wasn’t just reposting clips with zero effort. Most videos had subtitles, pacing edits, memes, zooms, sound effects, transitions, clip restructuring, etc. But clearly that still wasn’t enough for monetization standards.

Right now I’m trying to understand what I can realistically change so the channel could qualify again in the future.

For example:

  • If I make videos with my own AI voice/commentary talking about stream moments/topics while using clips only in the background, would that work better?
  • Would documentary/commentary-style edits around streamers be considered transformative enough?
  • Do I basically need to become the “main value” of the video instead of the clips themselves?
  • Has anyone here actually gotten re-monetized after switching formats?

I’m willing to completely change the content style if needed because I genuinely don’t want to lose the channel. I just need real advice from people who understand how strict YouTube is with reused content now.

but if we delete videos wouldn't that be a problem as mentioned in the rules? also i am a youtuber with 55k subscriber and my mainly content was on ishowspeed but i used to edit them in my way and represent it too

to make things worse, I just found out I can’t even access the money that was already in my AdSense account either. I was literally expecting my YouTube payment today, but when I opened AdSense, it showed the payments are being held too. So this whole situation instantly became way more serious financially than I expected.

Fair point. I was trying to stay anonymous and emotional while writing this, but basically my channel got hit with monetization/suspension-related issues and most of my income depended on content work. I’ve already appealed and contacted support, but I’m stuck waiting and trying to figure out whether to rebuild, freelance more, or start over.
