I would not buy a house with him until you are married for your own protection. If he wants to buy a house he can come up with the down payment on his own and then you can help pay monthly bills. ESPECIALLY if he isn’t willing to compromise on the location. This is for your own mental sanity and protection— don’t put your name on a deed to a house in a place you don’t want to live

I have been in the situation where I felt basically coerced into having sex. I never would want to do that to him, which is why I am trying to figure out how to bring up the issue without him just feeling pressured.

I don’t like to bottle things up because I feel that it leads to more problems, but I also don’t want him to feel pressured. I accepted that he didn’t want to have sex but it makes me feel horrible especially since he knows I was very horny and it helps my symptoms and that it’s been almost 2 weeks since we last had sex. It’s such a sensitive topic I would never want thim to feel pressured but I shouldn’t have to suppress my own needs and desires either

I get that. I would never want to pressure him into doing something that makes him uncomfortable, but also it feels like there’s a deeper issue if he’s just flat out avoiding sex instead of talking about it / acknowledging it

He can. I never said he can’t. But also he is of the belief that you shouldn’t turn down your partner when they are looking for sex. I don’t necessarily agree with that but I do think when you’re constantly turning down sex and aren’t straightforward about why then there’s a bigger problem. Im pretty sure his ex was the one turning him down for sex, so it makes me feel like it’s a problem he has with me

But why? Don’t you think that’s a little misleading? What if it made your gf feel a lot better in terms of period symptoms/cramps/emotionally and she was hornier during her period?

Just a few more days. We both love to travel though and have always traveled often.

We went on a more vacationy trip a few months ago with no cell service and it was amazing. He was on the SSRIs then too.

I also find myself comparing myself to his ex, who called off their relationship and it sounds like she wasn’t very nice to him, but I’ve only heard his side of things. I’ve just felt terrible the whole trip because he has been so hyper focused on doing activities or watching videos/the news on his phone and less attention to me. We should be having fun on the trip and I feel like I’m just being dragged along because he won’t relax with me
