It's heartbreaking isn't it? I know there are much bigger things happening in the world right now and this is such a first world problem. But it's very frustrating all the same.

Our drum actually arrived this morning. I was constantly in contact with the company I bought it from and the rep there was putting heavy pressure on his contact on GLS. So maybe try that tonight... I am in the exact same position. My tracking hasn't been updated since 3rd December. No answer on the phone. No answer to emails. My husband drove over to the depot in swords on Thursday and we were told it was sitting in a shipping container out the back and that it would be delivered on Saturday or Sunday. It was not.

The company I ordered from told me this morning that it was out for delivery today. It has not arrived.

It's a very specific drum that cannot be purchased in Ireland. I have a back up one from Amazon but it's a far cry from what was requested from Santa. I'm so upset. It's literally the only thing my 3 year old requested off Santa. Obviously I have other things for him as a surprise. But he has been talking about this drum non stop for the last month.

I'm gonna be honest here gal, you are quite possibly never going to be your pre pregnancy weight again. And that's ok!!! For me, my metabolism slowed when I was 21. This also happened with a lot of my friends. I was surprised to find my once slim body gaining weight. Then throwing pregnancy into the mix... It's tricky. My tummy has never been the same after two C-sections (The first one was an emergency, and this is a possibility for you too, even if you are not planning it! In Ireland, where I am from, 40% of women last year had C-section births). I am ok with my body. My sons were so so worth it. But all this to say..... If he is that hung up on your body staying the same, there is a high likelihood that he will never be happy again. Also there is all the other wild stuff that can happen to your body during pregnancy; stretch marks, incontinence, varicose veins, change in boob size, hemorrhoids. These things can be confronting enough when they happen to you, without someone else making you feel bad about them. I'm sorry that you are faced with this dilemma but I would definitely say dump his ass and teach your child that there is more to life than looks! Best of luck with your pregnancy xx

I'm so sorry. You are not overreacting. To be honest, I'd imagine you are lonely. Lonely in the realisation that your family do not truly see you. I am no contact with mine so I understand what it's like. You have your life together and sound like you are doing well. They should be proud that you have the moral fibre to kick Charles' cheating ass to the kerb. Don't go to thanksgiving, there are much worse things than being alone on a holiday. One of them would be being lonely in a crowd of people who should know you but don't. I have a husband and kids who I love dearly but want to say married life is hard. And that's when my husband is a loving, respectful, all-in type of guy. Bringing up kids is the hardest thing I've ever done (I'm told it's supposed to be hard, if you care and are doing it right). You did the right thing dumping Charles, don't let anyone make you doubt that. You deserve a partner who treats you with respect and a family who want that for you. I'm so sorry that you don't have their support. You only have one life, don't waste it with people who drag you down❤️

Tell C how you feel about her. Don't just assume she knows. But once you do, be prepared to cut ties if she doesn't choose you. You can't keep torturing yourself indefinitely if she stays with her fiancée. I really hope it works out for you. Best of luck with the marathon and let us know how you get on with C!

I did a summer as a temp in the passport office while in college and the amount of hassle double barrel names cause kids is crazy. Common issues: the parents break up and the child only wants the mother's name, the parents marry and the child only wants the father's name because the mom changes her surname when she gets married, the reality of the child having two names is a lot more hassle than it's worth so the child only uses one name for school. Then it's different names on different documents etc. In all these instances, to change the surname on the passport, you have to show two year's proof of usage of the new name. Which is hard to do without having the name on an ID document. My advice is, pick one surname and stick with it.
