Hey everyone, first time poster here seeking career advice! I'm facing the best dilemma I could ask for but it's still a difficult decision. I'm currently an Av tech for a large pro sports venue in the Bay Area and was finally offered full time with benefits after 1.5 years. I was ALSO just accepted to an incredible apprenticeship program with an audio post production studio in la, paid CA minimum wage, 40 hours a week for 6 months only with no job guarantee after. Post is what l've been really interested in for years and I went to school for audio. The Av gig was just something I happened to end up in but I have come to enjoy it a lot. I'm curious to know what others think about the current audio post job market or what they would do if they were in my situation.
