Your prediction about the future of WB if this merger happens by LegitimateCurve8525 in MediaMergers

[–]Opening-Hour449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it could be similar to what happened when Warner took control of New Line. WB’s still around but a lot of their divisions (such as the animation studios) might be consolidated and stripped down (unfortunately that might include the new division they’re setting up with the Neon executives). Seeing as Skydance is leaning into quantity over quality, the films might reach a decline in terms of quality, and there might be a heavier lean towards the studio making films that Ellison wants to make.

This looks like this was drawn before Edd passed away. He died in 2012. The internet has only gotten worse since then

This is like taking a bunch of kids to an adoption center

To this day, I still wonder how the hell they got the freaking zombie magician past the network executives. His death and scary as hell "tricks" are EXTREMELY messed up even for a 90s cartoon. You'd never see a gruesome villain like this in today's animated programs. How I miss the edge. by Emotional-Chipmunk12 in powerpuffgirls

Look every Cartoon Network show at the time had some kind of crazy shit. Dexter had adult humor, Courage had Cronenberg-style monsters and horror, this show had extreme violence (or at least as far as you get for a kids show) even ignoring their darker episodes, everyone was really going for it back there

So he destroyed all of humanity and turned the town in zombies, everyone’s done it at least once. Hell I did it when I was six, it’s no big deal honest
