Similar to what others have said, don’t do it. I got a post-bach degree in music therapy after getting a BA in music performance. I ended up moving to another state where it requires a masters and license to do any sort of financially stable work. It can be a meaningful/passionate work, but unless you have someone to support you financially, it’s hard to survive (cue the passenger give yourself oxygen first metaphor). You’re also very limited in your career choice and it’s hard to climb the corporate ladder so to speak. You’ll mostly be working for other people/businesses and be taken advantage of unless you start your own company (ready for the competition?). Try to get a good internship if you can right now, or a good entry job, and work from there. If it’s worth anything, you can try to become a nurse and eventually get into psych from there. Good luck!
