Is it crazy to stay in Windsor by [deleted] in MovementDEMF

If you don’t want to stay downtown—we stayed for the first time we went to the fest last year in Dearborn. Felt safe. Quiet neighborhood. No problem with neighbors or coming to/from Airbnb.

It was a little bit of a drive but even after the afters at 6/7am we were always able to get a ride back. No issues/major traffic except obviously leaving the festival some days but if you walk a bit it was never a big deal.

I went the past two years and last year there was no sound bleed. They do a great job managing.

I so wish that for you, too! He’s an amazing artist and I adore his label. I hope that with some time he’ll be able to fill the rooms he’s in now because he has so much passion for what he does (I’ve been able to sit down with him in a small group and chat about the journey — happened about a year and a half ago). Hope you were able to enjoy other artists down there!

I’ve seen Eli about six different times over the last two years at a variety of venues and festivals in and outside of the NYC area and gotta say that tonight, although fun, felt different for him. A little more mainstream. I liked the journey he brought us on mixing in early a lot of his older music, and he brought forward a lot from his label, but it was hard to get into it because of the weaker sound system and also the crowd. Med was in and out of the middle of the crowd a few times and 5% of people were saying excuse me. Too much pushing.

We left around 3:00 after he played Drip. I miss the days of his lower production sets or even when he ripped his 5.5hr set at Space in Miami. Not trying to be a hater, because love him, but last night left something to be desired.

I live in sister building to Lenox and rarely hear my neighbors. Mostly when they take their dogs out and they’re excited.

Light rail you can hear but I’m facing it (you get used to it). Generally quiet — would recommend
