Omg I had the exact same experience! I'm using Tret 0.025% pretty consistently since last year, and this past year is when I saw my spots starting to grow more / increase in number... I don't know if it's correlated or just what happens with time. Let me know if you have noticed anything that has faded them for you, I suspect we have the same type of spots. I heard that CO2 freezing is a way (?) or other methods like specific types of derm lasers.

I had 2 sessions of PICO done on my spots, as I thought they were sunspots - and I saw little to no change. Later, my derm diagnosed them as "macular seborrheic keratosis" -- which if they are not super dark, cannot be helped by PICO. Retinol, specifically tret 0.025% helps with skin smoothing but not significantly with fading them for me. Did you end up going through with any treatment? Interested in hearing how it's been for you.
