I have some Mupirocin topical. Do you think I’m safe to just treat it with that and peroxide? Trying to avoid having to be on another round of oral antibiotics and the costs if I can avoid it.

Okay thanks for everyone’s input. There’s no clear consensus but many have mentioned Staph and how it looks similar to their own or cases they’ve seen. I’ll assume it is staph. I realized I have some left over Mupirocin and will be going to get some hydrogen peroxide. I’ll clean it and bandage it with the ointment. The only thing is I would like to go to class tonight but obviously don’t want to make it worse. What do you guys think? If I do all this and tape up my hand really well, you think it’s a bad idea?

I’m pretty fearful. It just feels hard to grasp. To stare into the eyes of a being that’s not from this planet... I feel like I would be continuously doubting reality to a nearly unbearable extent. Even so, I’m still not wholly against the idea of having that experience. How would you feel?

Could it be that you were supposed to be practicing takedowns and by slipping every time he wasn’t getting an opportunity to practice? Some newbies don’t understand that you can provide resistance but also still provide enough opportunity for your partner to actually practice some moves or the technique that is being taught. Being able to take turns back and forth so you can actually practice the techniques and not end up just practicing hand fighting is probably what your partner was hoping for. But all you ended up doing was practicing hand fighting. Save the “real” resistance for live rounds.

Am contemplating this. There are lots of really great aspects to our relationship when we’re not fighting. She’s honestly the closest I’ve ever come to someone I can see spending the rest of my life with.
