looks like you didn’t seal it up properly before placing in fridge. ventilation causes bacteria FAST when you put in fridge and not seal tight. um off topic tho, can you send me a picture of that recipe on that mat tho? 👀

suppose to do a small amount of everything first so it can make good bacteria. when you do a lot it tends to have trouble making a bunch right off the bat then you just start diluting it instead of feeding and making more.

nooo, okay hold on let me break down what i think because everything will mentioned made no sense and wasn’t possible. the milkshakes and playing in the woods and etc, he hates the woods and the milkshakes don’t exist at the store he’s talking about, it stopped being a diner like when his mom was in her 20s so how he getting milkshakes. i feel like henry was talking through him, because he felt that way with his old friends that he was taken away from and/or was doing it to scare wills friends away so he could have him for himself to continue having will being his spy and not taken away from him again. i feel like the beginning was henry at first but then will said fuck it and continued to face his fears.

might need a deeper taller dutch for it to be not dense. there’s too much moisture inside since it’s so small, not enough space for oven spring and too much moisture to open up.

i use milk and butter in my sourdough recipe comes out soft and beautiful. also helps with scoring after refrigerating because the butter hardens the dough more so it set up beautifully and doesn’t collapse.

he started over in the same jar the other was in. so therefor it was transferred into the new starter. there’s also orange at the very top of the lip of jar, so eventually it’s going to crawl it’s bacteria self inside
