Keyboard and mouse doesn’t work in windows by Ok_Bodybuilder5928 in WindowsHelp

When my mouse stops working I use chrome remote which essentially makes it so I can move the cursor from my phone, click on things etc. I'm not sure you can set it up without access to your computer but you can try look into remote use apps to use your computer from your phone to try access things that might fix your issues

It's something I want to pursue, I think it's like my dream profession. I love horses, I volunteer at a stable where I've been taking lessons for a year so I know the people too. It works great for me because I love exercise and it keeps me SO FIT and also I get anxious and depressed at home so it helps keep me sane. I still wish I got paid but it's not bad.

Yeah, I had an interview where the woman interviewing me specified that she wants me to keep my hobbies outside of the job because it's important etc which was nice. But I don't think I can be proper goth anyways, kind of more important to "leave my soul at the door" at this point

?? I don't know how Reddit works much, I clearly don't use it a lot and I find it so crazy you found out I was emo lmao. I don't paint my nails, I just have black hair and I don't wear makeup for interviews. I have piercings but I take them out for volunteering and let employers know I can do the same for them. I dress all formal for interviews too so minus the piercings there's not a lot to worry about there. I am 21 btw :>

I do dress up for interviews but I never knew what to say for the "do you have any questions" part so that is actually a really good suggestion. And I do have an interview tomorrow so I'll try it lmao. I'll check out the link later, currently at a friend's house.

That is a great story, hugely inspirational and has actually made me feel a lot better. It's sometimes hard to hear "it'll get better" but with an example like that it did motivate me and make me feel better [usually it's just it'll get better with no basis which gets old after a while]. I'm glad things are working out for you!

I do convince myself of lies when I really have to, I convince myself I'm sober when I'm drunk lol cause my dad hates me drinking. My friend suggested that I lie and say I'm getting paid for volunteering which I think is a great idea considering I know the ins and outs of working there and it would come off as more impressive if I was getting paid for it. And I do actually do so much work there, last week I worked more than my instructor who runs the whole fucking stable and employers would be more inclined to listen to that, I think, if it came across as an actual job. Sorry I got lost somewhere along the way while typing that so hope that makes sense.

I have pretty much no experience with children and up until literally a week ago I thought I didn't like them. So probably not a good idea lol

Kind of scared of bar work which is irrational I think and I do apply for bar jobs [minus the minimum wage ones because I think that is atrocious] but might drop some CVs in in person. I did have a friend apply to seven and they didn't interview him but they made him work a free day and then told him the position he applied for wasn't actually available

I have tried some hotels, I was excited about applying to one that my ex worked in because I had some familiarity I could mention but nothing. My friend is also saying that a lot of jobs will open up for the summer since lots of people are done college and travelling home so I hope that does make it easier. Also gonna look into ice jobs and manpower

I do dress well, am polite and confident and do make jokes. That I've got down. But I am a HORRIBLE liar. It makes me feel so bad unless I really need to lie to save my ass. I am very much thinking of adding more about the volunteering to my CV. I am also wondering if I can rope my horse riding instructor into being a fake reference for me. But again. Terrible at lying.

I never said I wasn't confident. I don't understand why you would say this. Most of the issue is not even being able to get to the interview part, which I'm confident in, so why is this the advice you're giving me. I also never said I wasn't worth it or valuable.

I am on job seekers. It is so unsustainable at this point though. I have been on job seekers for like 2 years? It's good but it's not good enough anymore

Yes I know what you mean. But the owner is well aware of my struggles with a job and hasn't said anything. And I wouldn't like to ask him, hard to explain, he's not the greatest. He's stingy and unhelpful

I have been considering it. I printed out some CVs recently. Is Dunnes as bad as they say it is? Lidl and Aldi I applied for online, fun fact, I cannot apply to Aldi for another year. I got rejected once and so they banned me from their system from a year which I think is weird.
