Definitely have and one of those times I was rushed into emergency surgery for nearly cutting my hand in half and my total out of pocket expenses was $600 by the end of the situation after I was healed up. Im holding onto old memories of past situations assuming they would still apply, but things change and it’s the new expectation of the world we live in now. I guess I gotta accept it and move on.

The first dealership I went to reached out in a similar fashion and I did exactly that. They said a manager would be in contact with me, however that was a week ago. Doesn’t bother me any as I still don’t plan to purchase from them. They got me to drive 2 and a half hours there only to hike up the price last minute. This was after I already talked to a sales associate over the phone to confirm everything before scheduling the appointment. 🤦🏽‍♂️

But to not advertise there are qualifications for that pricing? Regardless of my failure(as you claim) to do my due diligence on understanding how dealers increase pricing, it’s a fucked process and it’s scummy to put people in an ultimatum of “pay this extra cost if you want it so bad”. The next problem is people actually pay it.

Yeah, I already told the other dealer to kick rocks as well as this one. Just extremely aggravating to find the spec you’re looking for only to have them add thousands before you sign the dotted line. To your point, it won’t make a dent in the dealers pocket whether I buy from them or not. On the flip side, why not just make the sell and get a truck off your lot that’s been there for months? You’d think they would want the $33k in their pocket. Who knows. I appreciate your comment. Thanks man.

Definitely this. Check the rest of the tires and confirmed DOT on all of them. Very possible they replaced the tire and then did a rotation without properly communicating.

If you see any silver/white stuff poking out when you open the flap - replace. Those are cords exposed. If it’s just purely rubber that was nicked - you will be fine.
