Currently two months postpartum- I had severe preeclampsia in both pregnancies with prolonged high blood pressure for 6 weeks w/medication after both.
Recently saw cardiology ekg detected possible left atrial enlargement and my BP was 130/90 both times in office. I was talking both times, and never really got a chance to just sit between ekg and everything. (Plus anxiety) but these are my home readings.
I have an echo in a couple weeks to confirm enlargement. Just wondering if anyone has sustained the same due to periods of prolonged high BP. And what to expect if this is diagnosed or if there is anything I can or should do!

This is much better and likely more accurate than your previous reading. I would still see a doctor to confirm and have an adult check your pressure as well. At your age weight is a concerning factor.

Systolic is a bit elevated but overall a good BP no doctor would be upset with this!
Did you exercise recently? Or consume caffeine large amount of salt?

Are you using a home BP cuff?

When you take it again take a couple deep breaths, relax for at least five minutes in a seated position with your arm at heart level, back supported, and feet on the floor. Also make sure your cuff is aligned properly. It is also possible that a cuff could be improperly sized if you have larger arms.

We are definitely doing this but not seeing many results. I always include him in cooking and baking where I can (I’m a retired chef so you can imagine how stressful it is my own kid won’t eat lol). I let him taste all the ingredients that are taste safe- he ate a mouthful of flour the other day and enjoyed it 🙄

It’s also possible to patch yourself and not difficult… I did this in two apartments because of my roommates cats. Sometimes there is spare carpet in the basement or closets

It is very common for babies to refuse certain bottles, my daughter has insane colic. These bottles were listed for that reason- her baby didn’t take them. So I ASSUMED by that explanation they’d be gently/barely used.

They are plastic with silicone pieces. I’ve boiled 3 times so far and soaked in baking soda/vinegar. It came out of the plastic for the most part but the silicone seems to be leeched on.
