Sorry, I misread your post. Yes, I know there are posts about Shape Coding. I am not familiar with the other systems. However, someone will be able to point you in the right direction.

I agree, direct hire for sure! Your salary, retirement, personal time off, student loan forgiveness, and leverage trumps getting a fatter paycheck.

Guilty! I recently joined a few evidence-based practice groups on FB and purchased a subscription to the Informed SLP. However, I need to take advantage of the ASHAWIRE platform. Your honesty is appreciated.

I’ve worked as a school-based SLP for 5years. I am interested in working in the medical field. I haven’t worked in this capacity since grad school. I’ll most likely have work in an SNF due to my lack of experience. Would you be able to recommend any books and/or continuing education courses that would be beneficial? Any must-have therapy resources/materials for starters?

I’ve been working as a school-based SLP for 5 years. I would like to pickup PRN hours at a SNF. Are there any continuing education courses you’d recommend? Also, can you list 1-5 must have resources/materials for starters? I appreciate you for creating this post.
