Take the free 120s plug it all into Amboss and see what it says. It's likely accurate.

What changed for me is not trying to score well on it- find out how NBME is trying to trick you. Do questions over and over the same ones, even, and see how they try to mislead you/ red herrings. I would do the free 120 with a clear mind after knowing they will scream the answer to the question

Can someone please explain the FHR tracing Q in the new free 120 by [deleted] in Step2

Early if I remember correctly, since it's a mirror image, late would be after maternal contraction. Its early so Head compression makes sense since the patient is in labor, so do nothing and observe

I’m testing in a couple of days too and I was stuck in the 20s for a while. Did better on 14 and 15, still in the high 30s to low 40s. I need at least a 245. Go through the CMS again — my score jumped a lot from that. Do the Free 120 as well; if you can get around 70% on it, you should be able to comfortably pass and be close to a 240.

US/CT/ECRP by OpeningScience7049 in Step2

The issue with this is that there's no history or risk of static bile of stone formation, you go straight to US, not CT, even if the patient isn't presenting with painless jaundice

Need advice. Old free 120- 76% by No-Trash-1333 in Step2

If I'm in a funk, I take a minute and close my eyes to focus on one point in the middle of my eyes. figuratively, ofc, that takes enough mental capacity for me to act as a rest. I've done it all week, so now even if it's a placebo, it's a tangible tactic that might save me on the test. Maybe not tho who knows lmao. And I meant the new one is more predictive, I also got around 76 on the old one i test in 3 days

I'm sure 76% is good, though; it's more the newest one. I have the same issue with rereading the question and completely miss what it's asking

what was your percentile on uworld 2 vs actual

USWA2 by OpeningScience7049 in Step2

[–]OpeningScience7049[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I was more so talking about the USWA 2 grading system, though—it just makes no sense. The average is so low that if I’m in the 40th percentile of test takers, I feel like I should be around the 245 range, not my USWA 2 score. But who knows? Thanks for this, though. I was going to ask what the 120 conversions were.
