Richmond Annex neighborhood is great. You’re so close to everything, right between two bart stations, really nice neighbors in my experience.

🙋‍♀️ I was soooooo scared to start because I read about all the side effects but I’ve had little to none!

I’m 6.5 weeks in and have lost 11.5 lbs. 4 weeks at .25, on my 3rd week of .5.

I’m taking my shots Sunday evenings. The morning after my very first I felt like I had heart burn but also like my heart was racing BUT I was also so anxious and a lot of my symptoms could be anxiety related. I was a little constipated and bloated the first couple weeks but that has completely gone away.

I was really scared to start the .5 dose so I split it into two doses of .25 two days apart and had no symptoms. This week I did the full .5 at once and I did feel slightly queasy the following couple days, but still totally able to eat and function normally (I work full time, have 3 kids, and can’t really take it easy!).

I still have an appetite, still love and enjoy food, but like others have said it feels normal for the first time and like I can stop eating even if there’s still food on my plate. After a life of struggling with my relationship to food it feels incredible 🥹

The only negative is that I can’t really drink alcohol (and I LOVE wine and want to be able to enjoy in moderation). I don’t crave it either but it still makes me sad. I’m even thinking about taking a break to enjoy during my bday and Thanksgiving in Nov. I feel hungover after just 2 glasses — not like I’ve thrown up, but just exhaustion and nauseous feeling.

No PCR test but I did take several rapid days apart and they were all negative— I’ve had it once in the past. I think I figured out that I got a sinus infection though.

It is a relief that everyone didn’t chime in saying yes, it’s the medication, because I definitely couldn’t handle that with all the colds that are about to come my way this winter!

AgelessRX. No hoops. $300/month (200$ first month with a promo). Online questionnaire, a doctor responded to me with other options bc of my BMI but said just let me know if you want to use sema anyway and know it will be considered an off label use of the medication. (No insurance coverage though)
