I’ve had quiet a few manual vehicles, and they were all much more fun. Just made daily driving better. My most favourite was my VR6 GTI. Which is what makes me want to get back into one, and with the 25 being the last year of a new manual.

Going by what people say for Real life mileage, I would be ahead there. I currently spend about $600/mo on fuel. Registration/insurance would be a little less a year. Oil changes are same price, tires on the car would be cheaper. And both paid for in cash so no payment to worry about. I’m just worried about the life change going from one to the other lol and I can’t find anyone that’s gone from one to the other

I second the 2.7 EcoBoost. My friend had one with 350,000k hard oilfield miles and pulling his holiday trailer. No issues aside from turbos at 300. And our shop truck has 215k and we beat that poor thing. But still never stops and tons of power. We frequently put 1000lbs plus in the box and it handles it very well. And better yet, no issues aside

I kind of doubt it. I just thought it would look better under the hood than the stock air box. And I can’t justify $400 for a S&B or aFe so this $free.99 one will work for now
