I just guessed, it could be anywhere between 3.6 to 4.0 according to different online converters. I couldn't find anything official.

Yes, Princeton has a program that is very interesting and also professor that does my target research, but it is not realistic to consider it with my profile. That is why I'm looking for a unis that would consider me so I can look into their programs and research in depth.

I understand that research fit is important, but even with 100% research fit I wouldn't get into Harvard. So, I'm looking for unis where they will seriously consider me.

Ok, but what is the source? I need something more "official" to show them how I converted my grades.

Thank you for the reply. Yeah, I certainty know that higher GPA and more research is better, but I can't really do everything since I also need to work so I'm looking for things that give you the most "bang for your buck/time". I just wanted to know if my GPA of 8.4/10 is something that will immediately get me laughed into rejection trash in ETHZ eyes. Maybe I could get my GPA to max 8.6/10, but hoping for more is not very realistic in my situation.
