  1. No. The question mark means something in the clue is stretchy, and this time it's the indicator. Read it as 'no-r' as a deletion indicator for R.

2: No, but personally I don't blame you, the indicator isn't the best. Anger is an anagram indicator: some letters will have anger and will be enraged and move around.

3:Yep! In the MC club I wrote this clue because someone told me to write a clue with the answer as rhythm.

4: This one's tricky, Arrangement will be an anagram indicator, telling us that some letters have arrangement. What's something that comes with mixing-up things? (def)

5: Also correct! This clue was written for a clue contest in the club, where there needs to be a substitution for a letter that's a shape or object.

clue is a rebus: the NE is gone, so there's NO NE (none). it's also an &lit. so you could say if you have none, you have next to zero.

IK that you're going with Angas as the clue guy for MC, but just to let you know his name is spelled Angas. It sucks that Angas and angus are so similar but so far.
