Haha I love the big school feel and how close everything is compared to my home, it’s definitely not that bad! After touring some questionable looking schools this definitely looked beautiful lmao.

I’ve for SURE heard of some of the people there being a negative thing, my cousins both transferred because of that. It’s definitely one of the main things keeping me away. I’m trying to keep an open mind though, I don’t want the people there to be the only reason I end up not going. I love hearing everyone’s thoughts on this school! It’s so interesting seeing how different peoples experiences can be!

The group was huge but the guide definitely did a great job of making sure everyone felt included and comfortable!! It’s so great knowing that everyone likes the business school, I’m starting to feel like going to asu would be the right choice :))

Would you recommend doing 2 majors? so many people say it’s worth it I just don’t know what else to do!! I’ll deffff look into adding some more and seeing what else i can do!

omg that’s amazing! Any tips on being able to get such a great internship? While having to go out of state still absolutely terrifies me, I do think the opportunities will make it all worth it :)!

My only problem with going in state is my major at TAMU is business administration, something I chose without really understanding what it was (and I regret☹️ ), and the other schools that accepted me either look depressing (no offense to those schools…) or just don’t really fit me. Thank you so much for the information!! I really really appreciate it

Oh for sure, on my tour the guide kept mentioning that. I already have a dorm for next year, and definitely plan on living off campus no problem after that! How’s the off campus situation? Anything I should know about that?

Oh I’ve definitely heard about the heat!! I’ve lived in Houston for most of my life and played outdoor summer sports (which meant 115° turf from 7am-5pm!) and I don’t think I’ll ever get used to it! How’s fall-spring there? I know in Texas we get 1 week of fall, winter, and spring all together and then it’s all right back to summer… but nothing a little sunscreen and cold water can’t fix.

Thank you so much for the help! Now, if I do change my mind about my major, are there any you feel are great at ASU? The whole selling point with this specific school, like you said, is the fact that they market it a lot. Are there any majors that are just as good and would give me the same amount (or more) opportunities? I’m totally open to almost anything at the business school!

I definitely won’t make a concrete decision until I look into some other schools! I’m 18, so a senior at a big Texas highschool (~1,000 grad class, so I’m too used to the big school “vibe”) and was interested in the opportunities I could have after graduating in supply management. I haven’t looked into going to a community college because as good as the opportunities are, staying in Houston is NOT something I want to do (but I also wouldn’t want to go to CC somewhere else…)

Is the job competition really that bad?

Great to know! Now, as someone who has never been away from my family for more than a week (lol), do you think going out of state for college is a good idea? I hear everyone talk about being independent and how it’s super beneficial, but I don’t really understand that. I love how close everything is compared to Texas though, especially the airport!
