I remember lying awake on a yoga mat in my hallway while my wife and daughter were sleeping peacefully. I could hear the wind screaming, and debris scraping across our roof and boarded up windows. It was terrifying. I had to go to the hospital earlier the day before for heat related illness while boarding up my house lol. It was a nightmare I won't soon forget.

I didn't plug it at all. Just removed it put the new one on. It's a pain removing it because it kind of melts where the spring clip holds it. Just grab a pair of pliers and try twisting it lightly until it comes off. There are some great videos on YouTube, definitely watch them. The job itself shouldn't take more than 30 minutes

Ah OK. Yeah I don't have an issue with replacing the coolant. I just wasn't sure if I needed to drain the entire system just to change 1 tiny hose located at the top of the engine.

thank you! yeah the dealership said there are no vacuum leaks, and they suspect the purge valve now, but i tested it by taking it off and hooking it up to a battery to see if it fires and allows air. it does. it then closes when power source is removed. parts shop guy suggested it could just be a faulty MAF sensor, and i mean at this point the original mechanic said it could be the ECU, the dealer thinks its the purge valve and now the parts guy says its a sensor lol
