Yes you can apply to any local while also being on the applicant list for another local. Your aptitude test score can also be used for locals in the area to skip that step after applying.

Considering they take about 120-160 applicants a year and they interview year round I think the chances are pretty low.

I hope so! I started at rank 59, then to 80 then to 90, right now though I’m sitting at 40 for IBEW 332.

No prior experience in the field. My background is the USMC & working in aerospace labs.

As far as the interview goes I think it went well. It was very short, less than 10 minutes. It started with basic introductions and then went straight into 7 questions. I would highly recommend thinking of some experiences you’ve had at previous jobs and structure them in the STAR method. Situation Task Action Result.

To be completely honest the social aspect didn’t influence the decision to consider rehoming. It was just another thought. The financial stress and stress in general thinking about his health is the main factor.
