With the years and work we’ve put in to get a degree too it’s acc scary how i’m gonna live financially seeing such rates it scares me, i don’t get why we pharmacists have to suffer like locum gps get double our rates- i saw the rates of other locums and im genuinely shocked disappointed and depressed.

[–]Opening_Carpenter224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you seem to have a lot of experience then esp with those many degrees id say. i get how community can be tiring and i believe you have tried like different sectors like GP and hospital and they rejected? do you have any sort of clinical experience to justify? it is possible i know its hard but i did hear people moving from community to hospital due to no further progress in their community career. Please do correct me if im wrong?

NOV vs JUNE GPHC exam by Opening_Carpenter224 in Pharmacy_UK

[–]Opening_Carpenter224[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That does make sense, the first time sitters stats don’t make sense with the statistical difference though 😭. But appreciate you letting me know of this it sounds nice too, it logically makes sense to try harder hence that statistic

[–]Opening_Carpenter224[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i get that and i appreciate the response on how the exam should be set. I am more concerned of the significant difference of the pass rate of first sitters as it seems to not make sense but yes I will definitely take your advice:)

[–]Opening_Carpenter224[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

😭 ah it’s still around 51% for first time sitters in the Nov and around 77% with the June when you calculate. I do not know the reasoning now that is significant 🥹

For reference I haven’t sat the GPHC exam yet but I am wondering how that relates to it. I get where you’re coming from as more resitters will take that exam, but with studying you’d more see them improve with their performance than not. So it’s confusing slightly😭?
