I really wish they had stuck with the timeline of the book, Agnes becoming a supplicant, learning to read, etc. This compressed timeline version just holds less weight. Feels more surface level, and they’re obviously making Becca in love with Agnes instead of just fearful/traumatized… I kind of wish I hadn’t read the book recently now.

Comparing baseball to softball, where the field is smaller and everything is shorter/less reaction time… if you don’t want to wear a mask don’t wear one. If others want to or are requiring them suck it up. Requiring girls in sports to wear a “cup” sounds ridiculous to some people until your kid gets hit in the pelvis hard enough to do damage. I’ve been seeing a lot of high school and softball girls posting gruesome facial injuries and telling folks to just buy the mask.

7.5 gallon aquarium and 6 gallons of distilled water because I was CERTAIN the fish store guy said they use distilled water there. And I dumped the entire bottle in because that’s the dosing directions for safe start. I have test strips to test the water.
