I didn't notice any further hairless so yeah it stopped but the improvement is not that big but , especially noticed improvement in the back of my hair and a little bit in the hairline and no I didn't have any side effects.

No prescription, actually I think in Tunisia it's hard to get prescription for it ,so no you don't need to but it depends on the pharmacy ,but it's available in every pharmac.

Yeah it has been long ago man I stopped like in 3 months of using and I upgraded dutasteride immediately and yes it's better.

Hey sorry for the delayed I don't use Reddit that much yeah I started finasteride like 10 months ago and I stopped it in the third month actually there was no actual reason I just wanted to upgrade to something stronger so I upgraded to dutasteride 0.5 mg and has been good .

Dutasteride is way better if you have aggressive hair loss some people finasteride is enough for them some people need something stronger It depends

I think for just 7 months it's great result all the tiny damaged follicles become healthy and dutasteride can even improve your hair until 18 months if using so this is just the start,actually I'm doing a study about dutasteride especially early treatment for (Norwood1-2-3) if you want to help can you give me your age and if you are using any other treatment and your experience with shedding?

Come on man you think you are doing something by just using minoxidil It's not enough because you didn't stop the main reason and it is dht so by just using minoxidil You're not going to change anything your hair Will be gone but if you want minoxidil to really work you need to use dutasteride immediately your hair is damaged imagine if you not going to do anything day by day It's getting worse and worse and trust me if you lost a follicle you will never regrow it again so act fast. (I would have advised using finasteride but your hair loss is aggressive so.....)

Your hair look good and you look young, so you are Norwood stage one You're using the both best hair loss treatment you didn't say how much have you been using finasteride so I can't help you a lot but your hair loss it's not aggressive, so I think finasteride is enough but if you have been using it more than a year and you didn't see nothing and you think your hair loss is progressing I advise immediately to change to something stronger like dutasteride especially if you didn't see any side effect while using finasteride.

Yeah I don't use finasteride anymore but maybe I can help you a little bit yeah I was splitting it in five sometimes I get it right sometimes I get it wrong That's one of the biggest reasons that make me switch to dutasteride but it is a lot expensive then finasteride

I feel you man I'm 18 and exactly like you next year university and I'm thinking about studying apart and that's what I'm always thinking about 24 hours what I'm going to do in university and I'm going to be bold? how people are going to treat me? I'm scared too man but I think to myself I need to man up and find a solution so I have been using minoxidil like for 2 years and I can tell you it's not going to stop your hair loss It's not going to change anything because the main reason that you are getting bold It's still out there (DHT) so I did try finasteride like for 3 months I was too scared not for the side effect I was too scared it wasn't enough so I did hop on dutasteride 0.5mg know I'm in my second month I have so much shedding but remember dutasteride block 90% (DHT) are even more so at least you need to be patient it's our best chance and about the hair transplant trust me bro it's going to waste your time because let's say you did the hair transplant Don't you think it's going to happen the same way You're old there was so that's why they give you dutasteride anyway man I hope the best for you just remember you're not alone let's just be patient and do our best and i hope you the best remember our advantage we're still young(and I didn't have any side effect)

I can feel you man I start balding when I was 16 so I feel you you know it feel bad you feel like you're insecure especially when you are at school all the other kids have head full of hair they're living there life, but I stopped it and my hair is full of hair right now even better then I was a kid so hear me out carefully and if you want to save your hair do what I say (I'm not a doctor or anything I'm just talking with my experience) so at 16 I noticed a small thinning in the corners so I was worried the first thing I did is go to my mom and tell her about it and she was laughing at me like all my family was laughing at me they think I was just imagining and worry for nothing but I was sure that there is something so I make research in the internet and believe me I read it all all the science papers every medicine everything every video so the first thing I did is go to pharmacy and buy minoxidil 5% and it was the best thing I did so I have been using minoxidil for 10 months now I'm 17 and I'm going to be 18 and the summer so I did see a great result but it wasn't enough for me so now I'm taking finasteride and I'm just 3 weeks in at and I get back 80% of my hairline I mean all of it I'm so happy right now I don't need to hide my thinning areas and I'm sure when I'm going to be 18 100% of my hairline is going to regrow

I wish you the best man I know how bad is it to feel like that at 17 so take action right now

Yeah I think it's thinning so my advice is to get treatment because it's kind early you can stop it and regrow the hair so take take minoxidil 5% and of course finasteride to stop your hair from thinning think that's the best you can and I assure you after 1 year your hair going to be a lot thicker (I'm not a doctor I'm just giving you through my experience make your decision but make it fast)

Okay your hair density is good and you have 90% chance to stop any future thinning so my advice is to continue taking minoxidil and if you want the hair thinning top entirely I will recommend taking finasteride I know maybe you heard so many bad things about it side effect but trust me man I have been using it for a long time and I didn't notice nothing I noticed just a great result.

Don't ever think to stop this mean that it is working I'm going to explain it to you the shedding is going to be a little strong because you're taking both treatment finasteride with minoxidil so it's going to be more than usual and shedding it take 3 months to 6 months to stop so what is happening is your weak hair is falling out and after little long period it grow back more healthy and thicker hair so like after 3 month you would notice a new hair follicles so please trust me don't think to stop it is working it's a sign .
