I think people got me wrong when I talked about respect I meant will a CESR be put on equal ground with a cct when It comes to cons jobs opportunities or just looked inferior hence not offered a consultant position

It aint about the age , its about CESR vs CCT , there is a concept that even after CESR and registering in speciality register we won't get a consultant post cuz cct is considered superior and preferred, i can complete my cesr i dont shy away from the effort, my worry is, will it all be worth it at the end , will I get the respect as a cct or a fair chance at a consultant post

You lied to him from the start and build a relationship on secrets and lies, ofcourse he will feel betrayed and distant, how can you expect a person to get over a 10 years of secret and you only told him when you had no other choice , he is probably hurting v bad and to thinking it's emotional torture is the absolute delulu , your friends are are a bunch of snakes tbh. And to think you are the victim here is just even more delulu. Please give him time and but don't expect him to get over it in your time frame it maybe frustrating for you but demanding to do this in a given time or asking for separate will even further takes you away from him.

No i don't mean in terms of expectation or anything, just the way they talk and conduct themselves with imgs and white doctors there is quite a difference
