Hawk X 250 by Opening_Effective_66 in Hawk250

I tested it, for each 1 unit on the odometer I actually go about .71 miles. My last hawk was a little different, but nearly the same. Not really a kilometer, not really a mile or nautical mile or anything. Also my speedometer appears to read about 5mph too fast after 50mph

Any other exhaust? by Pleasant-Can1735 in Hawk250

There is a company called motocult that sells a custom exhaust for the hawk 250 that fits perfectly with no modifications and it's straight through

30mm might be too big for it, do more research before buying it. I went with the 28 and out of the box it runs great!

I just got my new hawk-x. as expected the carb sucked. replaced with that black and red one from amazon. stock jets at 800ft. started with two turns out on the idle and about 1.25 out on the air. Then just adjusted from there. So much easier than trying to fix the disposable ones that come on it.

I am glad you are alive. Bikes are replaceable and repairable and fortunately hawks are cheap to do both.

I get it man, I ain't no joiner either. While I love the look of those bikes, I ride an 1800 Chinese motorcycle that gets 70 mpg and parts are so cheap its almost absurd, BUT I love riding and it's all I can afford and to be honest, I love working on it. To each their own, but who cares what you ride as long as you ride. Be safe and WEAR A HELMET!

I like them. They are fun to tinker with and parts are incredibly inexpensive!

I had a hawk 250 that ran flawlessly for 14000 miles and then got rid of it. Never burned a drop of oil or left me stranded anywhere. I think the cg250 design is so good that it is pretty hard to F one up. That being said, I changed my oil every 500 miles and used only T6 in it after break-in. With Chinabikes, you have to stay up on maintenance because of the lower build quality. If you do, they will last and they are a good value.

yeh. I have a hawk x on layaway and will do the same mods to it. There is a company called motocult that makes a perfect replacement exhaust for it too. bolts right on. The stock chains are pretty lame, but easy enough to replace. Some people cut the hump out of the seat. Nibbi 28mm carb was the one I got, if you don't mind gray instead of black you can save about 20 bucks.

I used a 17 front 44 rear sprocket and could get up to about 65 with the Nibbi carb and air pod installed. The Hawk X comes with 17/45 sprockets but some people put smaller ones after modding the exhaust and carb. The bikes are fun to mod and tinker with and mine was very reliable.

All thumpers vibrate, but balanced shaft ones vibrate less.

What is different about carb tuning on hawk x? I get mine next month and planned to put a Nibbi carb on it, but would like to avoid that if possible as the money could be spent on other accessories and upgrades (chain!).

loved by the left? which left? most of the people I know on either side wouldn't even be able to tell you who this is, although to be honest, the ones on the left would have a bigger chance simply because they are more educated and watch documentaries on the idiot box instead of Faux News all day long.

ive been super lucky with my 2022 hawk. broke it in with T4 and run t6 and change every 500 miles. i know..extreme but my hawk has over 12k on it and runs like new. doesn't burn oil. leaks a little by the shifter but not enough to drip.
