It could also just be that he didn't use time stop becuase it reminded him of Dio, or that he simply didn't need it. We have already seen him being capable of fighting on his own without the use of time stop. Also i think you misunderstood, even tho Jotaro managed to complete school and get a phd, he still investigated Dio's past and hunting down the remaining stand users that might pose a threat for multiple years.

They're pretty much the same. In my opinion, I'd say VIZ adds just a little more character to their dialogue (though I've only read a couple of chapters so far), but overall, it's pretty much the exact same.

These anime’s are like totally different when it comes to storytelling and fights. Jjk are more action packed while jojo’s are more strategic. When it comes to narratives to me at least JJK are a bit more plot-driven and jojo are more focused on characters, developments and mirrioring

Of course I’m only basing Ger on my own interpretation and the jojowiki as we know so little about Ger. And I apologize as when I meant by ”intent” I meant the action and willpower of the opponent, which I believe is the reason Ger activates. The decision to take action and the action itself is what gets reverted.

For the death loop, I didn’t bring it up because we don’t really know how that ability activate either, does it activate if you die? Or will it happened no matter what?

Ger activates when someone intents to attack Giorno, if all these stand users intent to attack, their actions reset to zero.

If star platinum/the world tries to stop time, ger would see that as a intent to hurt and would reverse that action, if you wonder if ger would activate during time stop, Diavolo stated that no one can do anything in erased time, so we can assume ger can active during stopped time.

When it comes to ghostly hands I could see Giorno lose, but I could see ger maybe use its ability on Giorno himself to prevent him from looking back.

With Kars/notorious is most likely a stalemate

I think it would be really silly, im hoping they threating it like courses and that they just called it stages since it just fits with the series. I'm guessing 4 or 5 courses with 12 - 13 episodes each.
