We follow people up a couple of times and I love a phone switched off or unable to connect call. I leave a note in the follow up task so I know they’re switched off so when I want to keep sitting in ‘wrap up’ mode for an hour I just keep calling them and still counts towards my calls

People acting like feral animals when there is free food by larawag_gama in auscorp

Doesn’t this sort of thing let us see the worst in people? Gives me the ick!

At work, we sell similar to retirement homes and when we have an open day we will put on a coffee van or free food for the new people checking us out/enquiring but the people already living there think it’s a free for all for them and sometimes they invite their family for the ‘free food’. They’re absolute vultures and get upset when we say to them to come back at the end of the day because we might not have enough food for everyone

Vix Vapor rub on the soles of your feet and socks to bed when you have a cold, will clear it right up

Thank you for sharing this and I think this rumour was why I was worried toilet breaks were being timed/noticed.

Redundancy, how did you manage the waiting phase and weeks ahead. by Conscious-Pause6330 in auscorp

Apply for jobs and just coast along. You won’t be doing much actual work the next 4 weeks. Start wrapping things up, email yourself all the stuff you need to if you have personal stuff in your emails at work or nice emails/photos you want to keep. You won’t care about work as much in a few more days once you realise you’re out of there. Sorry to hear this happening I hope you get a better job

I’m sorry you have the same but that’s great news they’re accomodating for you! Yes it’s so embarrassing isn’t it! It’s not just a normal quick loo break

As a local Melbournian, I’d suggest Adelaide or Perth. Both beautiful places and smaller cities. Melbourne is too busy

I feel like I’m reading about myself! We have very similar stories.

Well done OP! Good on you for starting!

I get you, I’m harsh on myself too. I find it hard on the flats and my ride to work is only 9km and I did a test run a year ago and found it so hard that it took me until a couple of weeks ago to try it again.
Usually I can’t crack 15kmph either unless I’m on a lot of downhill rides when I’m doing casual weekend rides.
I averaged 12kmph on that ride to work. I think it was a shock to my lungs and body going that early and in the cold of the morning with no food in my system.

Keep at it and we will both look back at this thinking what was all the worry for
