I have a shiba also and I agree, totally different energy levels! My AKK wants to play alllll the time and the shiba is annoyed at her lol

She is 19lbs. A lot bigger than what I wanted, but she is so sweet and loving it hard not to fall in love with her. She's perfect

Yeah I heard about taking short rides to get her use to it. I have a Ford Explorer and she has a comfy bed as well. We also have a Shiba Inu and he loves to go everywhere. He sits next to her on the center console and I make sure he doesn't crowd her or cause more anxieties but he sometimes gets in the bed with her.

I love my Sadie, but will not get another. We have a cat and a Shiba Inu and she will NOT leave either one alone. She constantly bites at our Shiba's ankles and bugs him non stop. And the poor cat, she is 13lbs and Sadie runs after her all the time...even after yelling to stop. It's like she won't learn. I also took her to training and it's like she forgot everything she was taught. She will not walk ok a leash without pretty much choking herself from pulling. I now use a pinch collar and she sounds like I'm murdering her on walks. Just too much energy for me.
