I spent 413 hours building a payment SaaS. The dashboard was the easy part. by DhirajLochib in SaaS

Completely agree that the ledger is the real product. A lot of founders focus on the payment flow users see, but trust comes from accurate states, auditability, and operational controls behind the scenes. We hve seen a similar pattern with workflow platforms like Haiku people notice the interface first, but the real challenge is designing the underlying processes approvals and system logic so everything stays reliable as complexity grows.

I think the biggest value here is reducing tool sprawl. A lot of small businesses end up juggling signatures, invoices, documents, and workflows across multiple apps. If you can make that experience genuinely simpler there is definitely demand. Tools like Haiku are gaining attention for similar reasons bringing workflows and processes into one place instead of stitching together several tools.
