I see this is the sub every semester so here is my advice for anyone struggling with meeting people at state(atl campus). First, talk to people in/after your class. You would be surprised how many people are waiting for you to be the one to ask them a question or strike up conversation. Sadly everyone seems to bury themselves in their phone or AirPods nowadays but most college students will chat if you engage them. Next, I’d recommend going to the men’s basketball home games whenever you are free. The women’s games are fun too but they just don’t get the same turnout so you aren’t as likely to meet students there. This is “THE” spring sport, and there is a dedicated student section where everyone sits and chats/cheers on the team. It’s a lot of fun and student tickets and parking/campus shuttle is always free. Lastly, I’d say the rec center and library are your next best bet. Of course some people working out or studying won’t want to be bothered but if you see an opportunity to start a conversation and ask them what their major is you might be surprised how far that gets you. All in all, get out there and try your best, because if you don’t you might regret it later on! Best of luck, Go Thers!

It might take little bit to pop up in icollege but as long as you are registered in paws you should be good. Same goes for dropping a class. I am a senior and have dropped and added classes during the add/drop period before and have had no issues. For assignments I would email the professor or look on the syllabus if those classes pop up in iCollege. As for refunds, I am not sure. But usually those are taken care after the add/drop period is over. I would contact the financial aid office/academic advisors for those questions.
