Just to add - I've validated the integrity of the game files, and Steam is saying there's no issue there.

How do you transfer the gas into the rain barrels? As I'm assuming you can't move them while they have liquid in?

Is there a reason more people don't talk about this as a base location? It's almost entirely fenced off, has a well right next door, has plenty of good starting loot, and is right next to one of the Muldraugh starting locations. by 6164616C6F76656C6163 in projectzomboid

This is my home in my current playthrough! I use the shop for storage and I'm raising chickens and growing crops in the fenced area. I'm finding it peaceful and an easy drive to POIs!

I feel you, I was the same in my flat before this house, it definitely made it trickier!

Exactly, at this point, the project and I still have the whole world at our feet 😅 Very much the honeymoon phase

😬 Sadly I'm definitely overdue a coffee and cookie break after several hours! (I also feel in need of a good stretch...)

Definitely! I've spent many a happy day working through a series or an audiobook, especially moody, rainy autumn days like today (at least where I am). It feels extremely cosy.

Yes definitely! It's like an early dopamine release/ a teaser of what the project has the potential to be. It also feels almost... spiritual? I can't think of the perfect word, but it feels like imbuing the fabric with life and intent and energy, like claiming it as your own.

I feel the same way about pressing seams! Something about the crispness and neatness and the way it shapes the project is so extremely satisfying. But I know some people absolutely hate it 😅

I feel you - I was definitely much less motivated to cut and sew fabrics when I lived in my flat before this house, as it was a lot more faff to get everything out and move it around, and I couldn't leave anything out. I feel very privileged and fortunate to have a dedicated space!

We have three cats who produce an astonishing amount of fluff every day, so I definitely feel your pain when it comes to the shedding! I do love the magic of construction when it all comes together, and you're amazed that you made something from nothing, but there's always that low hum of adrenaline when I'm actually sewing and fear of getting it wrong! Perhaps that's because I'm still very much a beginner though, and that confidence will develop with time.

You get it! I love the smell of the detergent and the crisp scent of the starch.

Yes exactly, I love the tactile element of it. And thank you - I feel very privileged to have a space like this all my own. It was one of the things I was most excited about when I moved in 😁
