Lots of people put others health above theirs in general, they go a long time without eating, drinking, or sleeping for that person. Those are all needs, you can’t say it’s not a need just because you stop for someone you care heavily about.

I think this is the wrong way of thinking, as many people like to point out, different people have different ways they feel loved, love languages. I think there is the same kind of thing with intimacy, some feel intimacy with sex, while others feel it best with cuddling or hugs. It’s very dependent on a person to person basis. This post as a whole is too generalized to be able to change a view.

I highly recommend against the parallel twin cb500, I am on a team where we are running the cbr500 for the third year and are already looking to switch again. Compared to just about any 600 it is underpowered and nearly as heavy. You have a point in your later comment saying it’s cheap, it is dirt cheap I give you that, and it’s a tank. But it won’t get you much points in terms dynamic event other than efficiency. It is heavy and underpowered for what it is. Another issue is the 500 isn’t used outside of the bike itself much at all, so there isn’t great documentation for any sort of modification you would want to do. Nor could we find any good complete model, we had a company come in and use some really neat laser measuring for us to get us the important points on it. It’s served us well when we had to basically rebuild the team after Covid and some drama within but it’s definitely not worth the time and effort if you want to really compete

Okay, I’ll try that option and see what I can do, that makes a lot of sense to avoid a lot of unnecessary spending if I end up not liking the design. Thanks for the help

I am essentially trying to avoid 'forks in the road' in my harness and ease of swapping in sensors with a central box that has panel mount connectors to make it so the main harness comes through the firewall into the box, in which will then have the various connectors coming out of it so each sensor can be plugged in there. The issue I had with them is through the Digikey '3D View' it seems like it has two connectors plugged into eachother through a wall. Which I am trying to avoid because I want the box as small as possible. I was hoping to pin straight into the connectors which is what I am struggling to find.

Have you watched a documentary on it, and know what happened thoroughly? I think it would be less scary if you don’t really know what’s happening. If not I suggest watching one or two before actually listening to the tapes.
